Company Overview
Aviv is a private, Chicago-based real estate company, with a primary focus on owning, acquiring and developing skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). Our revenues are generated by entering into long-term triple-net leases with high quality local, regional and national operators throughout the US.
Aviv's predecessor business was founded 30 years ago by Zev Karkomi, a well-known and respected real estate investor and a pioneer in triple-net leasing SNFs to nursing home operators. Mr. Karkomi was instrumental in cultivating many of our long-standing operator relationships and built Aviv into the significant platform that we enjoy today. Mr. Karkomi passed away in 2009 but his legacy continues to shape Aviv and drive our success.
